All right y'all, so it is getting close to the end of a very hectic and stressful year. So when Harperone reached out to me about reading the very cute book Be Wild Be Free by Amber Fossey I was super glad. This is a picture book that is meant for adults. This is not one of those you can share with your kids per se. There is a lot of honesty in here about how we need to stop looking at ourselves as defective because of mental health reasons. I enjoyed this book so much that I read it four times before writing this review. I even reached out to the author on Instagram to let her know how much I appreciated her putting this kind of book out there for all of us to read. While this is technically an ARC, I have received permission from Harperone to share a few of my favorite pages with you. I really think this is going to become an instant favorite for a lot of people. So be sure to check out just a couple of my favorite pages in this wonderful book to remind us all that we are important.
SYNOPSIS
Adults need picture books, too! In Amber Fossey's beautiful first book, we are each reminded to listen, to look, to feel and to remember what it is that makes us human.
